"It’s time to elect a supervisor who will listen to all residents of District 5. That candidate is Jennifer Montgomery"

In the June election, I made listening to communities a top priority. I also said we need to end "pay to play" politics and that as supervisor, I will preserve our valuable natural assets, protect small property owners' rights, stand up to the large out-of-district developers and restore responsive government to the people of our district. You responded and made me the top vote getter!
If elected, I'll use my experience as a small business owner, along with my private-sector work with Bank of America, Sugar Bowl, the Sierra Business Council and others to trim waste and balance the budget in these challenging times. As a former volunteer firefighter and the wife of a professional firefighter, I will work with all stakeholders to aggressively manage our private and public lands for reduced fire danger. I will work with existing communities to move forward appropriate land-use planning decisions.
Please join me as we fight to “Preserve, Protect, Restore, and Respect” Placer County. I respectfully ask for your vote on November 4th. Thank you.
